Kwashiorkor

The protein-calorie malnutrition occurs in two clinical picture: marasmus and kwashiorkor. Marasmus is a state of malnutrition due to lack of calories. Kwashiorkor dependent protein food insufficiency in spite of adequate caloric intake.
